A walk around the coastal lagoons and fields of Normandy Marsh, just outside Lymington.
The coastal path near Lymington has lagoons on one side and mudflats on the other and so attracts a great variety of wildlife, especially waders and wildfowl. This area is known as Normandy Marsh and usually holds most of the commoner waders and ducks to be found on the south coast.
Curlew, Redshank, Black-tailed Godwit, Dunlin and Grey Plover should all be seen and Spotted Redshank often winters here too. A great chance to learn your waders and wildfowl instead of Christmas shopping!
There are toilet facilities in the car park.
