New bird for UK - Long-billed Murrelet in Devon (15th Nov)
« on: November 15, 2006, 09:34:41 AM »

Hi,
A Long-billed Murrelet from the north Pacific has turned up on the Devon coast at Dawlish Warren. It looks like a Guillemot but a bit different.
It is the first time one has been seen alive anywhere in Europe and is probably your only chance to see this species - so if you have time, go and have a look.
Cheers
