Moths evening in Bransgore - 28th August
« on: September 02, 2009, 10:20:47 AM »

The weather was cool and cloudy.

The weather was not as good as it could have been, but we did attract a few moths to the moth trap. These included several Square-spot Rustic and Setaceous Hebrew Character, a Brimstone, a Willow Beauty, a Peach Blossom, Common Wainscot, a Maidens Blush and a couple of Large Yellow Underwing and Lesser Broad-bordered Yellow Underwing. I did put some wine solution out on the shed and this attracted one Copper Underwing.

Simon Curson.
