Migrants as they come in (ongoing)
« on: May 02, 2008, 10:42:37 AM »

2nd May.
I heard a Cuckoo singing from my garden in Bransgore this morning!
Spotted Flycatchers have started to arrive so look out for them on the New Forest.
Swifts should be arriving soon (if they are not here already - anyone seen any?). Look out for them over towns. there is a good colony in Ringwood so look out there.

Bluebells and many other woodland flowers are now fully out and form a wonderful display.

No Swifts yet, but I did see my first House Martins of the year today!

I think we just about beat you on the House Martins. There were lots all over Hengistbury Head when we went there last Tuesday (29th April).
