About 110 Yellow Wagtails were seen around Stanpit on Priory Marsh (visible from the golf course). Yellow Wagtails used to be a fairly common breeding bird in England, but is now scarce in many areas. These birds today would be migrating south for the winter. It would be a good chance to see this uncommon species, so have a look if you are nearby. Most were flying straight over, but some were seen on the ground. Good luck Simon Curson
