From the A338 road from Ringwood to Fordingbridge turn left to Harbridge. After Ibsley Bridge then Harbridge Bridge over the rivers turn right just by the church. Scan fields near here. Great White Egret - an evasive bird is still around the complex of lakes at Blashford. Bittern - there has been one from the North Hide at Blashford. It is often seen around midday and again in early evening. Bittern - there is at least one at Hatch pond in Poole. Lapland Bunting - there is at least one in arable fields at the base of Hurst Spit. Black-necked Grebe - still one or two at Blashford Lakes from the new hides. Great Grey Shrike - 3 or 4 on the New Forest.
