You can make the discussion boards display messages in a way that is easier to read. When you first register they are in a not too user friendly order. That is, replies are displayed below the entry that began the topic, which has the effect of pushing replies down so they can't be seen.  Some people don't mind this, but most prefer to have the latest posts displayed first - which has the effect of pushing the entry that began a topic downwards instead.

To get the board software to do this each user must amend their profiles as follows:

1. Click "Profile".
2. Click "Look and Layout Preferences".
3. Tick the box saying "Show most recent posts at the top."
4. Click the "Change Profile" button.
