Pectoral Sandpiper at Keyhaven - 21st August
« on: August 21, 2006, 12:59:43 PM »

A Pectoral Sandpiper from USA was seen at Fishtail Lagoon, Pennington Marshes yesterday and may hang around for a day or two. For those of you who came on the Wots That Wader day, Fishtail Lagoon is the one where we saw the Snipe, Green Sandpiper and all the Black-tailed Godwits. For others Fishtail Lagoon is the second really large one after you walk west (right) from the end of Lower Pennington Lane.
Good Luck

Pec Sand still at Pennington Marshes until at least 1pm on 25th August.
Anyone else seen it at all?

Havn't been down Pennington Marshes for ages. Might take a look.  Is the kingfisher still hanging around the creek at Moses Dock?
