Getting Started - READ THIS FIRST please

Welcome to our latest sightings board. This gives you the oppertunity to tell other readers what you have seen and to make comments or have discussions about what other people have seen. It is a great way of you all to communicate with each other.

Registering
In order for you to make any comments you must first register with Project Fred. We apologise for this, but it gives us some insight on who is using the site. If we need to we will be able to prevent people coming along and making unwanted or abusive comments.
Rest assured that Project Fred will not pass any details on to third parties or be spamming you with our e-mails etc.
Registration is easy. All you need to do is click the register link above and enter a username, an e-mail address and a password on the screen that appears, then agree to the terms and conditions. Note that these terms and conditions are not those or Project Fred, but are of the vendor who we bought the software from. You will then need to wait for Project Fred to get back to you with an e-mail to verify that you can use the discussion forum. We are very sorry that you have to wait and be verified, but this is necessary to avoid spammers putting undesirable writings on the discussion board.
PS - there are so many spammers trying to join up (up to 20 per day) that I will ask if you can send me an e-mail to say that you have registered then I shall not delete you by mistake along with all the spammers. Thanks.

Using the discussion forum
Once you have registered you need to read "Using this discussion forum".
Clicking on the words in bold above this message (Project Fred - latest sightings, Instructions for new users, etc) will take you to that part of the hierarchy.
If you move your mouse over these words now, you will see that they turn red and go underlined indicating that you can click on them and they will take you to that part of the hierarchy.
After you have registered, click on "Instructions for new users" above. The two subjects will be listed under the green bar across the middle of your screen. You can then click on the Subject "Using this discussion forum" and read the instructions.
