Happy New Year

Project Fred would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year abounding with wildlife.
We spent Christmas in Scotland seeing Waxwings, Whooper Swans, Goosanders and a Red Squirrrel.
So far this year -
there are a few Chiffchaffs and a Firecrest overwintering in the woods along Hengistbury Head.
a few Great Northern Diver are overwintering in Poole Harbour.
several Bar-tailed Godwit are at Stanpit Marsh, Christchurch.
Dunnocks are regularly singing as well as Robins and Woodpigeons.
