Once in Bransgore pass the Crown pub at the crossroads and continue on this road (it heads south west towards Winkton). After a short while you will see the Village Hall on the left, opposite Colbourne Close.
Date and time: 10am-4pm Saturday 1 October.
Gulls can be quite tricky to identify as adults, but the young plumages are much more difficult. The smaller gulls, such as Black-headed, take 2 years to reach adult plumage, while the largest gulls take 4 years. With a bewildering array of, often very similar plumages, most people are left confused and don't take a second look at immature gulls. However they can be identified.
Join us on today's workshop to start to unravel this difficult group. We shall be in the classroom for the morning. After a packed lunch we will be out looking at gulls in the afternoon.
How to book: Please book in advance by contacting Project Fred on 01425 673321 or by e-mail at project.fred@virgin.net.
